TIPS
ON WORKING WITH DR
Read the Client Information Booklet provided
by DR.
Keep
all documents related to your case.
Your
relationship with DR is a partnership ~ know both your rights
and responsibilities.
DR
is a state agency with regulations and policies. The process
can take time and be very frustrating. Ask questions if
you believe your case moves too slowly or don't understand what
your counselor is doing.
If
you cannot keep an appointment be sure to notify your counselor.
Expenses
must be authorized in advance by your counselor.
Stay
in contact with your counselor (at least monthly) even when things
are going well. If a problem develops, let your counselor
know immediately.
